Stone Mountain Park operates on a year-round basis, but our workforce is primarily seasonal. This means that throughout the year, our hours of operation vary and different locations throughout the Park may be closed at times. Most of our employees will be expected to work weekends and the majority of holidays. Seasonal team members are hired on a part-time basis, and hours are scheduled will fluctuate with our business needs. If you are hired for a seasonal position, you could work for a specific season or the majority of the year.

Employees at Stone Mountain Park must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old (applicants 16 and 17 years old must obtain a valid work permit)
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Submit to a criminal background check (applicants 17 years old and older)
  • Must present valid forms of identification as listed on the federal Form I-9
  • Must present a valid Social Security card (for tax purposes)
  • Submit to a credit check (applicants hired for financial positions)
  • Submit to a motor vehicle report (applicants hired for driving positions)
  • Employment eligiblity verfied by E-Verify
